Your data, in plain words.
Draft to be completed with an accountant or privacy consultant before publication. The Italian version is the legally binding one.
Who handles the data
Gabriele Desideri (Desideri&Code), Milan, Italy. Email: desiderigabriele@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
When you request a quote I collect your first and last name, email, phone number, company and what you tell me about the project. I use them only to get back to you and prepare your quote (legal basis: pre-contractual steps you requested). I never sell or share them.
Requests are saved in a Google spreadsheet and notified on Telegram (services of Google LLC and Telegram, which may process data outside the EU with the safeguards required by the GDPR). If you choose to send your project via WhatsApp or email, the message goes through your own account on those services.
If you apply from the «About us» page I collect your name, email, role, the links you add, your message and your CV (if attached). I use them only to evaluate working together (legal basis: pre-contractual steps you requested). The CV is stored in a private Google Drive folder.
How long
I keep request data for 24 months and then delete it, unless you become a client (in which case tax obligations apply). Applications are kept for 12 months.
Cookies and personalisation
The site only uses your browser's technical storage to remember your choices: your cookie preference, the intro animation already seen and, if you type it, your first name. These stay on your device and are never sent to me. Analytics or advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only start if you press "Accept and enter" or "Accept all" in the welcome box at the bottom, or if you switch them on yourself under "Customise"; "Continue without accepting" keeps them off. You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to desiderigabriele@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
